The entire train ride takes place during daylight hours to ensure you enjoy every minute of the breathtaking scenery of glacier-fed lakes, majestic mountains ranges and ferocious rivers.
The Rocky Mountaineer train travels in both eastbound and westbound directions between the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver, British Columbia, the resort town of Whistler, British Columbia and Jasper or Banff and Calgary, Alberta.

WHISTLER SEA TO SKY CLIMB
Welcome aboard Canada's most exciting new travel experience, fast becoming a world-renowned train journey. The Whistler Sea to Sky Climb provides you with an exclusive look at some of the most spectacular views in British Columbia. Following the famous Sea to Sky corridor, this three and a half hour Canadian train experience is a link between two world-class destinations, showcasing Vancouver to Whistler, British Columbia. The route delivers the unique blend of contrasts that the Sea to Sky region is famous for: cities and old-growth forests, bustling action and natural serenity, deep valleys and snow-capped mountain peaks, seascapes and mountain views.
You have the choice of enjoying a trip on the Whistler Sea to Sky Climb independently or in conjunction with several different vacation packages. Some will include a journey on the Rainforest to Gold Rush route, a two-day, all daylight journey between Whistler and Jasper, Alberta.
